Hope for youngsters at Stantonbury’s Sensory café

A Sensory café is to be staged at Christ Church, Stantonbury, during school half term from October 23 to 26 as part of the church’s project for Hope MK.

The aim of Hope MK is to help young people across Milton Keynes exploring and growing a faith in God, empowered to spread hope across the city in transformative ways, and to see MK churches working more closely together to resource and support them.

Christ Church is hoping that many youngsters will attend the events at Stantonbury and is appealing for floor cushions and light ropes to be lent for use in the Sensory area.

Volunteers are also being sought to help welcome and serve refreshments in the café area. Cakes are also needed for the café area – these are needed to be delivered on Sunday October 22 or to Anne Slee or Susan Gander.

Contact Anne at anne.e.slee@gmail.com or Susan at Christ Church if you can help.
