Changes afoot for Partnership as new council introduced at this week’s annual meeting

One of the most important meetings in  the history of the Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership will be held on Thursday April 20 at Christ Church, Stantonbury.

The annual church meeting will be the last under the structure of the Stantonbury Ecumenical Council. This will be replaced by the Partnership Council with each church asked to provide two representatives. The changes follow the move to charitable stuas for the Partnership.

All church members are asked to attend this meeting which begins at 7.30pm. The meeting also includes the annual parochial church meeting charied by the Anglican Team Rector, the Rev Paul Smith.

Willen turns the clock back to the ’50s and ’60s for latest lunchtime concert

It’s back to the ‘50s and ‘60s at St Mary Magdalene Church on Tuesday April 18 when the Backstops are the guests at the monthly Third Tuesday Twelve Thirty music session.

Entry is free so why not pop along in your lunch hour for all or part of the session.There’s no charge for entry but donations are welcome for church funds and the Hooke Heritage Project.
