St James Church set to host third meeting of Partnership’s Mission group

Ensuring advertising for ‘all events’ happening in our six churches, working with children and young people  and discipleship initiatives will be under discussion at the third meeting of the Mission, Evangelism and Discipleship group.

The meeting which will take place at St James Church, New Bradwell, on Monday July 14 at 7.30pm will also consider strategising for ministry changes. The meeting will also be accessible via Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82602980531?pwd=QXF1NFFEZndveUR6K1pwazZ3cit3dz09

Representatives from ALL six of our churches are encouraged to participate in this joint venture.

Meanwhile chair, the Rev Phil Dunning, is still seeking suggestions for a title for the group which may more easily be remembered and roll off the tongue.

New name sought for Partnership’s recently formed MED group

The Rev Phil Dunning.

Can you come up with a better name for the Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership’s recently formed MED Group? That is the question that was  discussed at the second meeting of the group a few weeks ago.

MED stands for Mission Evangelism and Discipleship but members of the group are aware that neither the abbreviation or the full version of the name exactly roll off the tongue. If you can think of a title which encompasses the work of the group – made up of members from most of our churches – then the facilitator the Rev Phil Dunning would like to hear from you.

More details of the MED group’s latest meeting can be found in the latest SEP newsletter, available to download here.
