Partnership Pilgrimage Walk route is announced

Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership’s annual Pilgrimage Walk will take place this year on Saturday September 13.

Posters stating the route and times have been distributed to churches so please put these on your external noticeboards. The event coincides with the day when some of our churches are open as part of Heritage Week celebrations. The poster can be downloaded here.

Meanwhile the Diocese of Oxford has announced the appointment the Rev Gavin Knight as Archdeacon of Buckingham following the upcoming retirement of the Venerable Guy Elsmore.

Churches play their part in September’s Heritage Week celebrations

Churches across the Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership are playing their part in this year’s Milton Keynes Heritage Week from September 12-21.

Most churches are open for at least one day during event which, despite its name, actually stretches to ten days.

There is a free 48 page guide available covering 250 events throughout the city. Our churches feature in the guide.

For St Mary Magdalene Church at Willen the week is a major occasion with the building open daily from 10am-5pm.
